Description
Stormoprene 2-Part Contact Adhesive by Stormsure enables you to easily make reliable and long-lasting repairs to inflatable boats, RIBs, boat canopies, life rafts, dinghies, welded seams, and other Hypalon and synthetic rubber-based products.
This kit contains waterproof contact adhesive and a small bottle of activator perfect for instant adhesion, sealing, and manufacturing or repairs on most materials such as laminates, wood, PVC, leather, PU, latex, neoprene, marine products, and many more. You can use just the glue (as a single component glue) on many fabrics, but the activator must be mixed with the adhesive when used to stick Hypalon fabric.
STORAGE: Ensure there is no air left before replacing the lid. Store partly used components in a cool and dry place.

1x Stormoprene Contact Adhesive 250ml
1x Small bottle of activator

CLEANING: Clean the area and ensure it’s dry and free from dust. Sandpaper provides an excellent result to clean the area.

PREPARATION: Mix components A (adhesive) and B (curing agent) for approx. 5-minutes. Ideally, mix in the proportions supplied or by components A & B at a ratio of 100:6 by weight.

APPLYING: Spread an even coat of the mixed adhesive to both surfaces with a brush, roller coater, or serrated trowel. Allow the adhesive to dry for 5-15 minutes or until it is dry to touch.

BONDING: Bring the two surfaces together using as much pressure as possible using by hand roller or pinching. This is to prevent air entrapment. Components may be handled within minutes of being bonded.
NOTE: Applying two thin coats of adhesive is preferable to ensure maximum adhesion. Leave the first coat to dry for approximately 20-30 minutes before applying the final coat. Allow the final coat to dry for 5 to 15 minutes.
